Ghana is universally seen as an example of good governance and a place where people proudly embrace their culture. Originally inspired by the Akan tribe's Fante flags, we further researched this tribe's symbols and discovered the exquisite Adinkra symbols and their meanings. One such symbol - Sankofa - the bird - means you must learn from the past - this ties in with our heritage, we need to know our roots to know where we are going.
