How long will I wait for my order?
We will send you an email within 2 working days of receipt of your order to acknowledge that we have received it. If the stock is available we will ship as soon as the payment is received. Delivery is explained under “How does the delivery work?”.
How does the delivery work?
The website will automatically charge a fee for delivery based on your location and quantity. The local fee ranges from R50 to R150 and is usually delivered within 1-3 days. We use Fastway Couriers to get your parcel to you safely.
We will send you a tracking number to track your parcel, please be sure that there is someone at the address to accept the delivery!
If you are placing an order from outside South Africa, delivery via DHL Express will automatically be quoted. We prefer shipping with DHL, as they are extremely reliable and very quick (3-7 days)! If you are looking for a less expensive option, please send us an email and we will come back to you with a local Post Office price. Just be aware that the Post Office is known for its sluggishness — it usually takes about 3 weeks. Once a Post Office parcel leaves South Africa, we cannot track it.
Every country has its own tax rate for parcels entering. You may or may not be charged VAT on your order and this will be for the buyer’s account.
What does it mean if there is a “Backorder” button on a product?
We try and keep stock of as many of our products as possible, but because of our wide variety of ranges we might not have stock of some items. Our production lead-time is 6-8 weeks, and we will start making your order as soon as we have received the payment.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept payments through Payfast, you can choose Visa or Mastercard, Bitcoin, or bank transfer.
You can pay via Visa or Mastercard, or Bitcoin. We do not recommend paying via bank transfer — the bank fees might be very high!
What happens if I receive my order and I want to return it?
Not what you expected? We will happily refund you within 14 days of the receipt of the order.
If you are unhappy with an item, please email us as soon as you can and we will send a courier to collect. As soon as the item has arrived back at our offices and it is still in the same condition as sent, with all swing tags attached, we will refund you. The initial delivery fee will not be refunded, but the collection will be covered by us.
For international orders placed we are unfortunately unable to refund transport costs.
What happens if my order never arrives?
If we have sent your order and it has not been received in, locally, 2 weeks, we will resend your order* on the agreement that if both parcels arrive, you will either return one to us or pay for both.
*If we do not have extra stock, we will manufacture as fast as we can.
Does it include the inner?
All items on the website exclude inners. We recommend that only feather and down inners are used, or inners made of natural fibres. Synthetic inners create static and may lessen the lifespan of you cushion cover. Always order inners that are 5cm larger than the cushion cover for a better fill. Please contact us if you require inners.
How do you care for your product?
All Evolution items should be dry cleaned only. Drycleaners should be instructed to use the hydrocarbon solvent (F) only.
All of the items currently on our website is made of 100% linen. We use YKK zippers.
How colourfast is my dyed cushion or throw?
We hand dye all of our dyed products with environmentally friendly pigments. Because this is not a mass-produced item, do not expose to fluids as it will leave watermarks and colours can run.
