Inspiration: At the heart of Desert Diaries is the story of !Nanni and Tamme, two young San travellers who made their way to Cape Town in the late 19th century. Under the guidance of Lucy Lloyd and William Bleek, they shared detailed knowledge of their lives - documenting indigenous plants, wildlife, and the rich storytelling traditions of the /Xam San. Their contributions became central to a globally significant archive, offering enduring insight into South Africa’s history and indigenous knowledge systems.

Need to know: Inner not included. Items are undyed until you choose your colour, after which they head to our dye house (open Tuesdays and Fridays) to be hand-dyed. Please allow up to 2 weeks for your shade to be ready. If the cushion is out of stock, kindly allow a 6–10 week lead time.
