George French Angas (25 April 1822 - 4 October 1886)

Angas was an English explorer, naturalist and painter. He traveled to South Africa in 1846 where he spent two years in Natal and the Cape, working on a series of drawings and watercolours, which were published in 1849.

This drawing was titled “Umnonoti River in Natal”.

How are the panels made?

Each panel is crafted on a make-to-order basis. The fabric is kept printed but unfinished until your order is placed, allowing us to complete the final detailing with care. Panels are pigment printed on 100% linen.

Looped finish, ready to hang.

Framed options (10mm profile) available in:

  • Teak-stained pine wood
  • Black aluminium

Lead times

If your panel is in stock, please allow 2–3 weeks for finishing. If it is out of stock, lead times are approximately 6–8 weeks.
