Made locally in South Africa from natural fibres, our jacquard throws are woven with intention. Known for its intricate patterning and depth, jacquard is a technique we work with carefully, developing each piece for colour, texture, and a softness that feels as considered as it looks.

This throw is part of the Call of the Karoo Collection.

Inspiration: In 1899, at just 19 years old, Jakob Traas - Bella’s father - set out on a journey to the east but ultimately settled in the Cape. Among the handful of possessions he brought with him was a small piece of hand-woven fabric, carefully preserved through his travels. That humble textile became the inspiration behind our throw, Jacob’s Tapestry. Woven with a richer, more intricate structure than our classic throws, its layered construction echoes the character and craftsmanship of traditional tapestries, giving it a beautifully textured handle and timeless heirloom quality.

Care guide: Machine washable on a gentle cycle with gentle detergent. Dry in the shade.
