Each cushion is hand-dyed just for you. We keep them in their natural, undyed state until you choose your colour, after which they head to our dye house (open Tuesdays and Fridays) to be transformed.

Please allow up to 2 weeks for your chosen shade to be ready. If the cushion is out of stock, kindly allow a 6–10 week lead time.

Herewith we honour the grasslands of Southern Africa. This humble plant family is easily overlooked, as Alan Paton describes in his book Cry Our Beloved Country (1948). “The grass is rich and matted, you can’t see the soil. It holds the rain and the mist, and they seep into the ground, feeding the streams in every kloof.” “Stand upon it, for the ground is holy, being even as it came from the Creator. Keep it, guard it, care for it, for it keeps men, guards men, cares for men. Destroy it and man is destroyed.” We therefor have to protect and promote the importance of this precious resource.
