Overdyed Watercolour Jacquard Throw
This throw is part of our Protectors of the planet range.
Inspiration: Desert Diaries follows the remarkable journey of two San children!Nanni and Tamme, who travelled from present-day northern Botswana to Cape Town in 1880. There, they worked with linguists Lucy Lloyd and William Bleek, whose groundbreaking efforts preserved the voices and knowledge of the /Xam San. Through the children’s accounts of their environment, survival practices, and traditional stories, these drawings form part of one of the most important ethnographic records in the world, capturing a vital piece of South Africa’s cultural and linguistic heritage.
Care guide: Machine washable on gentle cycle with gentle detergent. Dry in the shade.
